Who is responsible
The operator of LongExposure.com is responsible for the personal data handled through this site. For privacy questions or requests, email privacy@longexposure.com.
Information processed when you visit
Like most websites, our hosting and content-delivery services automatically process technical request data needed to deliver and protect the site. This may include your IP address, the date and time of a request, the requested page or file, referrer information, browser or device information, response status, and request-performance data.
Analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand basic traffic trends and site performance. It reports aggregate information such as visits, page views, pages visited, referrer, country, device type, browser, operating system, page-load time, and Core Web Vitals.
Cloudflare Web Analytics does not use cookies or localStorage, does not fingerprint individual visitors, and does not log URL query strings. It is not used to identify you or track you across unrelated websites.
Its small performance beacon loads from static.cloudflareinsights.com after the page markup and sends measurements to Cloudflare. Blocking that request does not affect any site content or feature.
How and why we use this information
We use aggregate analytics to understand whether the site is being visited and how traffic changes over time. We use technical request data to deliver photographs and pages, maintain reliability and performance, prevent abuse, investigate security incidents, and diagnose errors. Where data-protection law requires a legal basis, we rely on our legitimate interests in operating, securing, and improving this small public website.
Retention
Cloudflare retains unsampled Web Analytics beacon data for seven days and then keeps aggregated data, with up to six months available to us. Our CloudFront access logs are retained for no more than 30 days and are then deleted, unless a specific record must be preserved for longer to investigate abuse, a security incident, or a legal claim.
Service providers and international processing
Cloudflare provides privacy-focused web analytics. Amazon Web Services provides hosting, content delivery, and operational logging through Amazon S3 and Amazon CloudFront. These providers process data on our behalf under their own data-protection terms. Their infrastructure may process information outside your country, using the transfer safeguards required by applicable law.
Cookies and browser storage
LongExposure.com does not set analytics or advertising cookies and does not use browser storage for tracking. On that basis, the current site does not show a cookie-consent banner. If we introduce technology that requires consent, we will update this notice and obtain that consent before activating it where required.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict, or object to the use of your personal data, and to complain to your local data-protection authority. Because we do not operate accounts or identify visitors through analytics, we may not be able to connect aggregate analytics to a particular person. Contact privacy@longexposure.com and we will respond as required by applicable law.
